We are proud to announce that MSC Bellissima, has been crowned ‘Asia Best Cruise Ship Award’ for the second consecutive year. 🏆 The accolade was awarded at the 10th Asia Cruise Forum held in Jeju, South Korea to reaffirm MSC Bellissima’s growing popularity in the continent’s developing cruise market. Oliviero Morelli, President of Japan, Korea and South-East Asia, MSC Cruises, collected the award and said, “MSC Bellissima has established herself as a point of excellence in the Asian market, earning recognition from both guests and the travel community. “This wonderful and consecutive award is testament to the ship’s world-class personalised guest service and exceptionally high scoring customer feedback. “We would like to thank Mr. Young Hun Oh, Governor of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, the travel agency community, relevant authorities and, of course, our guests who have enjoyed wonderful holidays at sea.”

Wonderful to see these future marine scientists gaining hands-on experience in coral restoration at Ocean Cay. It’s a reminder of how important practical conservation learning is for protecting the marine ecosystems we sail in and call home. A big thank you to the MSC Foundation and the University of The Bahamas for making this possible.

Greece has long been a cornerstone of the Mediterranean story for both MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys.   During a series of onboard events in Thessaloniki, Kavala, and Syros, we had the pleasure of welcoming Deputy Governors, members of parliament, local dignitaries, port officials, and media to engage in meaningful dialogue about the future of cruise tourism in the region.   Together, we explored Greece’s vital role in Eastern Mediterranean itineraries, the need for continued investment not only in port infrastructure but also in shoreside services, and the growing demand for culturally rich destinations that support and enhance local communities and economies.   The occasion also marked a milestone: MSC Lirica’s maiden call into Syros, a new addition to our itineraries, and a symbol of our ongoing commitment to expanding sustainable cruise tourism across Greece.   A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us – we look forward to shaping a resilient future for tourism together!

A weekend of firsts. Tudor Pro Cycling made its debut at the Tour de France this weekend — and MSC Cruises was there as their Official Main Partner.   From the Grand Départ in Lille to the first days on the road, we’re proud to support the team as they take on cycling’s biggest race.   As our Executive Chairman, Pierfrancesco Vago, shared:   “We are proud to partner with the Tudor Pro Cycling team as Official Main Partner at the start of this exciting new chapter for the team.”   Here’s to an unforgettable first Tour together. Brad Pitt is the star in the fictional APXGP team, which features our branding on the team’s race cars, uniforms, and drivers’ overalls, making MSC Cruises an unmistakable part of the movie’s high-speed story. The film was shot during real Formula 1® Grand Prix race weekends over the past seasons, and therefore also includes MSC Cruises distinct racetrack branding, a result of our global partnership with Formula 1®, which has recently been extended through to 2030. On 14 June, MSC Cruises had the pleasure of welcoming local partners on board MSC World Europa in Marseille — a city that’s been at the heart of our story for over 20 years.   From port authorities and local businesses to Intercruises Shoreside and Port Services and the Cruise Club, the event was a powerful moment of collaboration. Together, we explored how community engagement can contribute to a more sustainable future for cruise travel. We shared updates on:  - Our investment in cleaner transport solutions, including E-shuttles and hybrid buses  - Smarter shuttle routing and staggered group visits to reduce congestion  - The expansion of our Protectours — lower-impact excursions guided by local experts  - Ongoing partnerships that support Marseille’s economy, culture, and environment Our commitment to Marseille is about shared values, long-term collaboration, and meaningful local impact. Earlier this month, MSC Cruises was proudly represented at a high-profile reception hosted by the UK Chamber of Shipping at the Terrace Pavilion of the House of Commons. This event marked the launch of the UK Chamber’s "Value of Shipping" report – a comprehensive look at the economic and societal importance of the maritime sector to the UK. Representing MSC Cruises Management UK were two of our UK cadets, Hannah Doyle and Oscar Bailey, who shared their experiences at sea with Members of Parliament, UK Government Ministers and industry leaders. 👩✈️ Hannah recently qualified and will soon join the fleet as a Third Officer. 👨✈️ Oscar is preparing for his final exams before becoming a certified officer. Alongside Stewart Inglis, our Group Director, Maritime Policy & Government Affairs and Linda D., our UK Cadet Training Officer, they showcased how MSC Cruises support young maritime talent from college to officer roles on board, and the importance of the maritime industry in the UK and globally. These cadets are a testament to the quality of our training programme, and a reminder that people remain at the heart of MSC Cruises’ 300-year legacy. A big thank you to the UK Chamber of Shipping for hosting this event and to our cadets for representing MSC Cruises with pride.👏
