Recent headlines have reminded us how high the stakes are in #GeneTherapy. Adverse events associated with AAV gene therapy underscore the urgent need for innovations that can improve both efficacy and safety. At NewBiologix, we recognize that liver failure is a multifactorial issue, influenced by disease state, immune response, total vector dose and patient fragility. One variable we can directly improve is vector quality. Our Xcell platform was designed to produce a higher proportion of full, functional rAAV capsids, reducing the number of empty or partial capsids that can trigger immune reactions and add unnecessary burden on the liver.
